What the project investment will enable
With the funds raised in this offer, Sollatek will be able to make 350 solar home systems with Niwa televisions available to families in rural Kenya that would otherwise be out of their financial reach.
Currently only 62.7% of Kenya’s rural population is connected to grid power (according to the World Bank Global Electrification Database). For the estimated 23.5 million people without a connection, solar energy is one of the most reliable and cost-effective solutions.
Sollatek aims to raise £105,000 of investment in this raise, enabling them to purchase 350 units to help approximately 1,750 people in Kenya to access electricity.
